Your privacy on TonuDevTool

1. Information related to our tools

Browser-based processing: TonuDevTool is built so that formatting, conversion, and similar operations run in your browser. We do not ask you to upload your tool input to our servers for normal use, and we do not maintain a database of the text, code, or files you enter into the utilities.

Contact information: If you use the contact form or email us, we receive what you send (for example your email address and message content) only to respond to you. We do not use that for unrelated marketing.

2. Cookies and local storage

Like most websites, we use cookies (small text files stored on your device) and similar storage (such as localStorage) where needed for the site to work and to understand usage. You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may break theme memory or affect how ads/analytics behave.

2.1 First-party (TonuDevTool)

• •Theme (light / dark): We may store your display preference using local storage or a small cookie so the site remembers your choice on return visits.
• •Essential site behavior: Cookies or storage required for basic navigation and security (for example load balancing or abuse protection if implemented by our host) may be set by the infrastructure that serves the pages.

When you load pages that include Google AdSense or Google Analytics (GA4), Google may set or read cookies on your device. Those cookies are controlled by Google under its own policies, not by us. They may be used to measure traffic, prevent fraud, cap how often an ad appears, or deliver and personalize ads (depending on your settings and region).

3. Third-party advertising (Google AdSense)

TonuDevTool displays advertisements through Google AdSense, a program operated by Google LLC (or its affiliates). AdSense may use cookies, mobile advertising IDs (on supported environments), and web beacons to:

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers. AdSense pays us when ads are shown or interacted with according to Google's rules. The advertisers and ad tech vendors involved are selected by Google's network, not hand-picked by us for each impression.

4. Analytics (Google Analytics / GA4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic: for example which pages are viewed, general device and browser types, and how people move through the site. GA4 may use cookies and identifiers processed according to Google's policies. We use these statistics to improve performance and content, not to read what you type into individual tools.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing lists. Advertising on the site is served through Google's program under Google's terms.

6. Data security

We follow reasonable practices for a small static and server-rendered site. Because tool processing is designed around the browser, sensitive payloads you paste into utilities are not sent to us by default as part of that feature. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely risk-free; use discretion with secrets and personal data in any online tool.

7. Children's privacy

TonuDevTool is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has contacted us with personal data, email us and we will delete what we can reasonably identify.

8. Your rights and regional notices

Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK, or certain U.S. states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because much of our processing is handled by Google when you interact with ads or analytics, you may also exercise some choices directly with Google using the links in sections 3 and 4 above.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or partners change. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised policy.
